Five divisions. One website. Zero room for error.

A complete website rebuild for the largest manufacturer of tooling in the United States — designed, built, and launched on a deadline that left no margin.

The client

The largest tooling manufacturer in the United States.

Tooling Tech Group is one specialized manufacturer with five divisions, spanning facilities from Michigan to Tennessee to Missouri to Ohio. They build precision tooling for thermoforming, compression molding, die casting, stamping, and blow molding, along with custom automated assembly solutions. Their clients include some of the largest names in automotive, aerospace, defense, and consumer goods.

We first built their website in 2019. By 2024, TTG had grown significantly — acquiring new companies, adding divisions, expanding their capabilities, and launching a proprietary product line called Segen Quick-Change. The existing site could no longer hold the weight of what they’d become.

The challenge

Twice the site. A fraction of the timeline.

TTG needed a complete rebuild — not a refresh. The new site had to showcase five divisions, multiple facility locations, and an upgraded e-commerce store, all organized under a navigation system that made a massive amount of information feel simple and findable.

The deadline was a major industry event. The site had to be live, polished, and performing before TTG showed up at the booth. That gave us an exceptionally compressed timeline to design, build, populate, and launch a site that was roughly twice the size of the one it was replacing.

The approach

Organized complexity into clarity.

The biggest challenge wasn’t building pages — it was information architecture. How do you help a visitor who needs thermoforming molds find the right division, the right capabilities page, and the right contact person, all within a few clicks?

We designed a multi-level mega-menu system that organizes TTG’s services by division first, then breaks each division into specific capabilities with anchor-linked sections — so a visitor can land exactly where they need to be. Each of the five divisions received its own branded page featuring capabilities, equipment listings, industry applications, and a direct contact form.

For the Segen product line, we built a dedicated micro-section within the site — complete with its own navigation, product catalog pages, a how-it-works explainer, application guides, and a fully integrated WooCommerce store with updated product listings.

The work

Built to showcase an entire operation.

Every page was designed to do two things: help visitors find exactly what they need, and communicate the depth and professionalism of TTG’s operation. That meant custom layouts for each division, not templates. Video integration for capability demonstrations. Photo galleries of real facilities and equipment. And a responsive design that works as well on a phone at a trade show as it does on a desktop in a procurement office.

The Segen e-store was rebuilt with improved product organization, clearer specifications, and a streamlined checkout process. We also built a resources section housing case studies, brochures, and a video library — giving TTG’s sales team a link for every conversation.

Division pages

Five divisions. One cohesive experience.

Each division — Alpha Integration, Century Tool, Die CAD, GH Tool & Mold, Tooling Technology — received a dedicated page with its own identity within the larger TTG framework. Facility photography, equipment listings, capability breakdowns, and industry-specific applications are all organized so a prospect can quickly determine whether that division serves their needs.

The division pages double as sales tools. Every one includes a direct contact form, downloadable brochures, and facility location details — giving TTG’s team something concrete to share after a trade show conversation.

The outcome

Live before the booth opened.

The site launched on schedule — before the industry event — with every page populated, every form functional, every product listed, and every link working. TTG’s team walked into their booth with a live website that matched the scale and professionalism of their operation.

We’ve continued maintaining and evolving the site since launch — adding new content, updating company information, publishing news articles, and keeping everything current as TTG continues to grow. The relationship that started with a website in 2019 is still going strong.
